Catherine was born in the Dominican Republic and spent her early childhood between her hometown of Santo Domingo, and San Francisco, California, where she began performing on stage through school productions and the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts.

Moving to The Bronx, New York, at the age of 12, she continued performing and training throughout young adulthood, taking a break to pursue a career in social work, and then returning to the stage in 2023’s Earth to Venus. She has enjoyed working on stage and screen since and continues engaging in ongoing training and coaching. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work. When not acting on stage or screen, she’s a practicing mental health therapist and a lecturer in Master Social Work graduate programs.
