Catherine was born in the Dominican Republic and spent her early childhood between her hometown of Santo Domingo, and San Francisco, California, where she began performing on stage through school productions and the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts.

Moving to The Bronx, New York, at the age of 12, she continued performing and training throughout her young adulthood, taking a break to pursue a career in social work, and then returning to the theater in 2023’s Earth to Venus. She has enjoyed working on stage and screen since, shifting between both worlds as much as possible. When not performing, she’s a practicing mental health therapist, a coach, and a professor in MSW programs. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work.
